I have always been interested in woodworking and have honed my interest and skills over the years. This is something that lets me express an area of my artistic interest. I'm self taught and have observed a lot of people, their skills, techniques, tricks, and philosophy. At times I'll take on a project I have no idea how to do, but it's great to take on the challenge and come up with a solution for a great piece. When creating, my goal is for people to take notice of something unique and the urge to touch my work. I challenge myself to use only joinery when ever possible (no nails/screws). I am also fascinated by the Fibonacci sequence and the "Golden Ratio" (1:1.618 as seen in my logo) and it's place in design. Incorporating these ideas, and thinking a little outside the box, make the finished work more interesting. Every piece has a story beyond what you see, that's what gives it its soul. I hope to provide work others will enjoy for a lifetime.
