The cut offs from barrel staves create a clever look boarding the black void, and framed in birch. Burning the tips gives a visual interest to the white oak.

The amber light fills the room with a warm glow.  Prefect to make any room warm and cozy.  Elevated from its base, the burnt cedar's contrast and alligator skin affect is of visual interest.  Antique glass provides the perfect diffusion of light and was the inspiration for this piece.

A very rough, warped slab of cypress still had something to offer. Once I brought out it's inner life, the clean lines and colors make this a soothing piece in any room.
