57" dinning table that seats 6 comfortably! Sycamore top with walnut legs designed so that no one's legs interferes with the legs of the table.

Getting the legs to all be exactly the same was a trick, but mounting them in the exact position securely was more of a challenge.

Good math and jigs help construct the hub to hold the legs in place without hardware.

A secondary hub had to be created to help control expansion and contraction and to keep the legs from spitting from the lower hub.

The underside may be more interesting than the top view. This is where design and function come together.

A unique feature was to make the table look light. This was done by shaping the underside so that the 1-1/4" top tapered down to just over 3/8 of an inch. You need to stand back 12 feet before you realize the table is thicker than it looks. The finish, well you can't get much smoother, and boy does it feel good.
